The GST rate will increase from 7% to 8% with effect from 1 Jan 2023. All residents, however, would see no changes to the S&CC rates payable. The harmonised S&CC and penalty rates as at 1 April 2021 will remain the same with no adjustments made after the GST hike.

While all Town Councils will be provided with additional GST subvention grants, SKTC has been faced with increasing operational/maintenance costs ranging from 5% to 20% over the past years. While it has been challenging to manage costs, the Town Council will continue to manage our expenses prudently and focus on driving operational efficiencies, to ensure that Town Council operations are managed in a cost-effective manner for the long-run.

As the maintenance of the estate is dependent on the timely collection of Service and Conservancy fees, please continue to make payment via the following modes of payment at Sengkang Town Council:
